Transkaukazja v Praze
Transkaukazja je evropský festival s delší tradicí, program paralelně probíhá i v Polsku, Německu a Rakousku, letos poprvé i v Praze.

Transkaukazja in Prague
Not everyone could go to Caucasus to listen to Armenian music, drink Georgian wine, and to discover, that Azerbaijan is not just about oil. But everyone could come to the South Wing of Divus, right in the center of Prague and at least to get a feeling of Caucasian magical variety. During one week from June 20 till June 24 everyone has a chance to enjoy the sounds, screenings, colours, meanings, and (NB! 21.06 only!) meet beautiful people from Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan
Transkaukazja Festival started in Poland 2004, and takes place every two years, in open and central urban spaces, as well as in the art galleries, cinemas, theatres and cultural centers. The
festival represents the richness of Caucasian cultures through visual arts, film, music, dance, and events combining different art genres.
Transkaukazja 2011 International is the fifth edition of the festival. This year it expanded from just Poland to Austria, Czech Republic and Germany, at the same time spreading ideas and activities around Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. Artistic events related to Caucasian cultures are taking place in Dresden, Vienna, Prague, Warsaw and many other cities.
