Archiv TFR se stará o zpracování a zachování uměleckého odkazu a poslední vůle židovské umělkyně Teresy Feodorowny Riesové. Během této umělecké přednášky bude projekt nejen představen, ale proběhne také diskuse s návštěvníky o jejich postřezích a úvahách.
Archiv TFR je skupina výtvarníků, kurátorů, historiků umění a badatelů, kteří se starají o uměleckou pozůstalost a odkaz Riesové. Důležitým aspektem činnosti archivu je zpracovávání a vypravování životního příběhu této umělkyně se solidaritou a péčí.
Základem uměleckých děl je soukromý archiv Riesové, jenž byl v roce 2018 vydražen právě do rukou Valerie Habsburg. Archiv obsahuje originál ručně psané závěti, seznam děl, dopisy, pohlednice, deník a fotografie.
Na základě zjištěných skutečností, pravdivě popsaného příběhu a poslední vůle umělkyně, což se podařilo poprvé od její smrti, bylo také zahájeno restituční řízení.
Událost proběhne v anglickém jazyce.
*Valerie Habsburg žije a působí ve Vídni jako umělkyně, fotografka, výzkumnice a kurátorka. Je absolventkou magisterského oboru na Akademii výtvarných umění ve Vídni, kde také působila jako přednášející. Ve svých dílech reflektuje a zpracovává témata jako paměť, čas a dočasnost a jejich vztah k prostoru a místu. Archiv tvoří důležitý základ jejích uměleckých děl, která sestávají primárně z fotografie, videa, objektů a instalací. Její práce byly vystaveny mj. v Rakousku, České republice, Itálii a Německu. Při práci s fotografickými archivy se Valerie Habsburg zajímá zejména o osobní záznamy: soukromé rodinné kroniky, zdokumentované intimní okamžiky, zaznamenané a katalogizované individuální vzpomínky. Od roku 2019 se věnuje uměleckému výzkumu díla a života židovské sochařky Teresy Feodorowny Riesové, pro který založila Archiv TFR.
*Judith Augustinovič je umělkyně a kurátorka, která žije a pracuje ve Vídni a v Rio de Janeiru. Její umělecká díla vycházejí z architektury a zaměřují se na napětí mezi první (lidská kůže), druhou (oblečení) a třetí kůží (architektura) a narativními popisy kulturních a historických, sociálních a genderových skutečností – s naléhavým zájmem o odstranění domnělých hranic.

The TFR Archive is responsible for the processing of the artistic legacy and the last will, and the remembrance of the Jewish artist Teresa Feodorowna Ries. In this artistic lecture the project will be presented and insights and reflections will be discussed with the visitors.
The TFR Archive is a group of artists, curators, art historians and researchers who seek to preserve the artistic estate and legacy of Ries. An important aspect is the processing and narration of the story about the artist. Important aspects of TFR’s work are solidarity and care.
Ries’ estate forms the basis of the artistic works – containing the original handwritten last will, lists of works, letters, cards, diary and photographs – which were auctioned off in 2018 and acquired by Valerie Habsburg.
Based on what was found; the correct writing of her story and the last will of the artist, which is now available for the first time, a restitution procedure was also started.
Teresa Feodorowna Ries is an important Jewish artist who has been forgotten (deliberately) and whose work and history are becoming increasingly visible.

*Valerie Habsburg lives and works as an artist, photographer, researcher and curator in Vienna (A). She has a Masters from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, where she was also a lecturer. In her works she reflects and processes themes such as memory(ies), time and temporality(ies) and their relation to space and place. The archive forms an important basis for her artistic works, which are expressed through photography, video, objects and installations. Her works have been shown in Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany etc. When working with photography archives, Habsburg is particularly interested in personal archives: private family chronicles, documented intimate moments, registered and catalogued individual memories. Since 2019, she has engaged in artistic research into the work and life of Jewish sculptor Teresa Feodorowna Ries – and founded the TFR-Archive.

*Judith Augustinovič, artist and curator, lives and works in Vienna and Rio de Janeiro. Originating from architecture, the focus of the artistic works lies in the tension between first skin (human skin), second skin (clothing) and third skin (architecture), and the narrative inscriptions of cultural, historical, social and gender-based realities, with an insistent interest in the dissolution of putative boundaries.
