Řezat, sekat, štípat, bušit, stříkat, kosit, tlouci, trhat, pálit…
Šum lesa a zpěv ptáků vytěsňuje zvuk motorových pil, cirkulárek, sekaček, traktorů a bagrů. Zvuky strojů a těžké techniky reflektují činnost člověka v krajině, do níž zasahuje. Ateliér malířky sídlí uprostřed šumavských lesů. Krajina, kterou pozoruje, se necitlivými zásahy člověka rychle mění před očima.
Název výstavy je slovní hříčkou známého přísloví. Zrcadlí současný svět, v němž je lidský faktor spouštěčem událostí a katastrof dopadající na společnost a prostředí kolem nás. Zobrazený svět je místem, jež obývají lidé a jiné bytosti, nejčastěji zvířata. Smyšlená stvoření jsou aktéry příběhů, tichými pozorovateli či vězni ve světě plném krutostí. Člověk zpodobněný jako osamělý individualista marně navazuje kontakt s dalšími bytostmi, rostlinami či zvířaty.
Výstava sestává z prací z posledních tří let. Část maleb vznikala v ateliéru na Šumavě, druhou část obrazů malovala v pražském ateliéru, v němž rok tvořila. Inspiraci k malbám hledá v aktuálním dění, prostředí vesnice a města, v mezilidských vztazích, reálných situacích či příbězích ze svého života. V nejnovějších pracích spojuje více technik, ať už olejomalbu, malbu akrylem nebo kombinaci tuše a akrylu.
Ve stejný čas proběhne vernisáž i v druhém výstavním prostoru (podzemí), Galerie XY-1.

Sawing, cutting, chopping, beating, spraying, scything, smashing, ripping, burning…
The rustling of the forest and the music of birdsong are being replaced by the sound of chainsaws, circular saws, mowers, tractors and diggers. The soundscape of machinery and heavy equipment reflects the activity of man in the landscape he is intruding upon. The painter’s studio is located in the middle of the Šumava forests. The countryside she observes is changing rapidly before her eyes, through the insensitive interventions caused by the human hand.
The title of the exhibition is a pun on a proverb, and it mirrors the contemporary world in which the human factor is the trigger for events and disasters affecting society and the environment around us. The world depicted by the artist is a place inhabited by humans and other creatures, usually animals. The fictional creatures are protagonists of stories, silent observers, or prisoners in a world full of cruelty. The human beings, portrayed as lonely individualists, are failing to contact other entities, plants or animals.
The exhibition consists of her works from the last three years. Some of her paintings were created in her studio in Šumava, the others were painted in her studio in Prague, where she spent a year making art. She draws inspiration for her paintings from current events, the environments of villages and towns, interpersonal relationships, real situations and stories from her own life. In her latest works she combines several techniques, either oil painting or acrylic painting, or a combination of acrylic and ink.
