Daniel Nováček is a visual artist who is interested in narratology and cinematography in his work. His main authorial program is an extensive video series called Reconstructions, which is characterized by a minimalist „manual“ visual language.

He graduated from the Intermedia studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Brno University of Technology, where he is currently continuing his doctoral studies. The author’s solo exhibitions have been held at the TIC Youth Gallery in Brno, FaVU Gallery, ART Gallery and Monomach Gallery. His works have also been included in collective exhibitions at the Jelení Gallery, Theatre X10 and the Prague Quadriennale. In 2022, he was a resident at the Budapest History Museum.
