This event brings together 4 compositions working in different fields of octophonic and 8.2-channel spatial sound performances. Exploring the medium of surround-sound and its traditions as a non-linear listening experiences of sound art pioneered by the likes of John Cage and Karlheinz Stockhausen, this configuration will feature pieces that will explore techniques of tonal displacement through physical space, electroacoustic re-imagining of live instrumentation, 3D aural immersion and spatial sound poetry performance.
