Sunday Drone: Laptop Ensemble Novi Sad // Marek Wojoczek & VJ Fedor

Laptop Ensemble Novi Sad (LENS) was founded in 2024 at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad to explore and develop the use of laptops as musical instruments. The ensemble members are Milan Milojković, Jovana Dragojević, Bojan Ožegović and Kosta Ranđelović.Their repertoire includes works by 20th- and 21st-century composers of live electronic music, alongside electroacoustic improvisations — both algorithmic and performer-driven — and networked performances over the internet.The ensemble is also dedicated to exploring alternative forms of musical notation, such as graphic scores and textual instructions, adapting traditional methods to suit the nature of electronic performance.Their music blends elements of indeterminacy, drone, process-based and intuitive composition, balancing between structured and open-ended sound parameters.Marek Wojoczek (XION)Deep listening, healing, love and respect from Ambisen curator and Xion label founder Marek Wojoczek playing affectionate ambient recordings accompanied by label companion VJ Fedor.Entrance fee: 200-400 CZK
